1000 Days Sober
What I've Learned and How It's Going
BETTER LIVING
Spoiler Alert - I'm not going back! Going from professional brewer to quitting alcohol for 2.5 years and counting, I'm celebrating a milestone in my journey to sobriety. Drinking isn't for me anymore.
Getting sober isn't something I talk about often, but the 1000 day mark felt noteworthy. I'm happy to be where I am today, a happier and healthier me.
Sobriety won't be a main focus of this channel, but it does play a significant role in my ongoing work in growing as a person and cultivating the life I want to live.
If I had to choose 2 changes that can kickstart taking back your time and getting away from feeling like you're wasting your life, it would be quitting drinking (if you're a regular drinker) and spending less time on that damn phone. That's a topic we'll talk about in the future.
In the meantime, thanks for listening.
*PS* I'm no expert, but if you're in a spot where you've quit drinking, are thinking about it, or just questioning your relationship with alcohol and feel alone, please know that you aren't. There are always people to talk to, and if you don't know where to turn, feel free to reach out. If the comments section is intimidating, the form on my contact me page goes direct to my email.
Be well.
